My Blog was about why beauty pageants were exploitive and why child beauty contents were a cause to pedophiles. It was quite appalling to learn that child beauty/talent contents could cause this. Also after seeing a documentary on one of Tyra Bank's shows it gave me a better insight on this topic. As you can see in the above image that young girls like these are made to wear excessive makeup, get hairdos and wear clothes that also show skin hence it's virtually an adult beauty contest. The whole purpose of showing talent is defeated as looks become the main focus.
